This could be the last Positive Trio before John Cena ‘ruins’ wrestling. Cena’s actions at the Elimination Chamber ensure he is on this month’s list. The Elimination Chamber also saw the shocking return of Jade Cargill as we found out it was Naomi who attacked her. The final moment from March was the exciting Lucha Rules six man tag team match from TNA Sacrifice, pitting Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz and Ace Austin against Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.

The scene was set. The Rock had made Cody Rhodes a ‘once in a lifetime’ offer. If Cody sold his soul to The Rock at the Elimination Chamber, he would be rewarded.

Ahead of the segment was the Men’s Elimination Chamber match which saw John Cena outlast CM Punk to face Cody at WrestleMania. Whilst it seemed as if we would get two ultimate babyfaces in a one in a lifetime match, you could sense something was afoot.

After Cody swore at The Rock and rejected his offer Cena viciously attacked Cody in the most showing heel turn of the century. Travis Scott had accompanied The Rock to the ring and then proceeded to stand over Cody before punching him in the face with full force. It looked awkward and the injuries were evident on Cody’s face in the following days. Shocking, heated and intriguing – the perfect way to start the build for the WrestleMania main event.

Another heel turn took place at TNA Sacrifice as Nic Nemeth attacked Matt Hardy. The highlight of Sacrifice though, was the six man Lucha Rules match. The stipulation added something to the match as all wrestlers could be in the ring at the same time. The match also had the added backstory of Wes Lee turning his back on The Rascalz.

The match was fast paced and full of memorable moments. Lee drove Ace Austin into the ring steps in a nasty looking spot. Austin then did a high flying double dropkick on both Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.

The match ended after Zachary Wentz hit a top rope corkscrew on his former tag team partner Lee leading to the TNA team getting the victory over the NXT team.

The Women’s Elimination Chamber was also memorable. The lead up to show saw Nick Aldis obtain footage which showed Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez nearby in the aftermath of Jade Cargill being attacked months ago.

The match saw Liv and Naomi as the last two competitors to enter the structure and start the match. Before this could happen, Jade charged to the ring and it seemed she would attack Liv.

Jade instead went after Naomi as her tag team partner Bianca Belair was trapped in the pod and forced to watch. Bianca was confused but in a way that prompts questions around whether Bianca had some involvement in setting up the original attack on Jade. Naomi was taken out on a stretcher setting up a fascinating storyline between Jade and Naomi.
