This month’s Positive Trio of the three things we enjoyed in wrestling is dominated by WrestleMania 41. The action over the two nights had up’s and down’s but two incredible back to back triple threat matches ending night one and starting night two made the list. The other match on this month’s Trio was a match that should have been on Mania but which was instead on the following Smackdown.

The Mania triple threat matches were both unpredictable in terms of the outcome. Paul Heyman loomed large over the main event of night one as he had declared he would be in CM Punk’s corner for his match against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

Roman was clearly unhappy about the role his ‘Wise Man’ was taking but you always had doubt it may be a ruse. There was also an interesting segment in the build up where Seth teased threatening Heyman.

The match itself showed incredible ring psychology with a number of throwbacks to previous matches and storylines. A particular highlight was the tease of a Shield Bomb only for Roman to attach Seth.

It was clear Heyman would have some say in the outcome. Getting a steel chair, Heyman teased sliding it to Roman but then passed it to Punk. Heyman then struck Punk from behind with a low blow. A low blow to Roman followed before Heyman handed Seth the chair. A chair shot and Stomp to Roman followed leading to Seth getting the win on the grandest stage of all.

The triple threat to start night two was very different but equally exciting. After the Elimination Chamber this title match seemed likely to see Rhea Ripley defending against Bianca Belair. A surprise victory for Iyo Sky over Rhea followed by some ‘influencing’ by Rhea saw this become a triple threat.

The speed of Iyo meshed well with the power of Rhea and Bianca during the match. Rhea and Bianca were at time focusing on each other rather than but each of the three competitors had times during the match when they were on top.

After being whipped by Bianca’s hair, Rhea fell prey to the K.O.D. It looked like Bianca would get the win, but Iyo flew from the top rope hitting the Over the Moonsault. Iyo then pinned Bianca to retain her title and become an even bigger star.

Not everyone can be on WrestleMania even with two nights. Chelsea Green and Zelina Vega were unfortunate not to make the show. Equally as unfortunate were the competitors in the tag team title match on the Smackdown following Mania.

The Street Profits, #DIY and Motor City Machine Guns have all held the titles during 2025 but this time they were at stake in a TLC match which lasted over twenty minutes.

These six wrestlers are all incredible in the ring and the match had the several of the usual spots you expect in a TLC, all perfectly executed. It also had lots of innovation and high risk moments that thrilled those watching.

A prosthetic limb from the crowd was used leading to Johnny Gargano threatening action post the match as it was not a TLCPL match! When Tommaso Ciampa was hanging from the belts, Angelo Dawkins delivered a brutal looking spear.

The ending saw Montez Ford, Chris Sabin and Gargano battling at the top of the ladder with Ford knocking Sabin and Gargano down allowing the Street Profits to retain in one of the best Smackdown matches of the decade.
