Summer is upon us and this month’s Positive Trio has world’s colliding, a lack of order and a Rhyno.

The first of this month’s trio is the intriguing storyline from TNA involving Order 4. When Mustafa Ali returned to TNA back in March he wasted no time in getting a cabinet surrounding him by recruiting The Good Hands and Tasha Steelz.

Things started to go awry when Ali became frustrated with Tasha’s performance and he started berating her. Family man Jason Hotch stood up for Tasha but was beaten by Ali at Against All Odds. The bullying continued but this time it was John Skyer standing up for Tasha and Hotch. Skyler was also unsuccessful in making Ali see sense, losing to him on the June 20th episode of Impact.

The storyline was intriguing as Ali clearly has a hold over the rest of Order 4 but they are still together to a degree. Order 4 getting back on the same page seems less likely due to the behaviour of Ali and the debut of Cedric Alexander. Cedric immediately inserted himself into Ali’s business by standing up for the rest of Order 4.

Will we get a complete break-up of Order 4 at Slammiversary or will it all be a ruse with Order 4 uniting to help Ali become victorious.

When WWE announced at WrestleMania that they had purchased AAA, there was uncertainty around what would happen next. The first joint AAA and WWE event took place on June 7th. The name Worlds Collide invoked memories of the memorable 1994 When Worlds Collide show which helped the likes of Eddie Guerrero, Rey Misterio Jr, and Juventud Guerrera gain greater recognition.

NXT ran shows titled Worlds Collide in 2020 and 2022 which were excellent and this show was no different. From start to finish the show offered fast paced action and drama which was articulated excellently by Corey Graves on commentary.

The match of the night was the main event which saw El Hijo del Vikingo retain the AAA Mega championship over Chad Gable. The breakout star of the night was Mr. Iguana who has a unique look and character that resonated with the WWE audience.

The purchase by WWE gives AAA an incredible opportunity to get more eyes on their product and Lucha Libre in general. The build to TripleMania in August will certainly be interesting to see which WWE stars appear in Mexico City.

It’s also fun to see wrestling live and when WAW announced that Rhyno would be appearing on their June 27th show against RKJ, it was an event I had to see. RKJ is one of the best wrestlers in Europe, but whilst I expected the match to be the best on the card, I did not expect it to be as good as it was.

An ECW style brawl both men took incredible bumps as tables, chairs, wet floor signs, kendo sticks and ladders were used. The sold out venue was hot for the near falls on one of the warmest days of the year.

Despite Rhyno hitting a trademark Gore, RKJ recovered to get the victory. After the match Rhyno got on the microphone to put over RKJ as the crowd chanted ‘ECW’ and ‘Please come back’.
