Positive Trio is on the Road to WrestleMania with the Royal Rumble dominating this month’s top three. Cody Rhodes had an incredible ladder match with Kevin Owens and IShowSpeed was almost broken in half. Alongside these was an incredible tag team match from Raw between Bianca Belair and Naomi against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

Kevin Owens is a perennial contender for the world championship at the Royal Rumble. This time, there was the added dynamic of Kevin calling on his best friend Sami Zayn to have his back as he tried to right the perceived wrongs of Cody Rhodes.

The ladder match was brutal with both Cody and Kevin taking dangerous bumps. Sami came to ringside to check on his friend and watched on shocked as Kevin lay folded in half on a broken ladder at ringside.

This was masterful storytelling as Sami had no reason to turn on Cody and ladders are part of the danger of the match. In Kevin’s eyes, though, his best friend betrayed him by not helping leading to Kevin almost suffering a serios injury.

The two Rumble matches had several memorable moments with Alexa Bliss, Nikki Bella, Trish Stratus and Joe Hendry making appearances. The most incredible though involved Bron Breakker and IShowSpeed.

Speed wasn’t even meant to be in the Rumble he was merely filming backstage. After Carmelo Hayes attacked Akira Tozawa as Tozawa was about to enter, Triple H looked around backstage and told Speed he was in.

It was a decision Speed would later regret as he came face to face with Bron. Bron has the best Spear in wrestling and the speed (pardon the pun!) he reached as he made contact with the midriff of Speed was incredible. A truly must see viral moment.

February ended with a tag team title match that saw Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez regain the championships. The build up to the match saw Nick Aldis receive footage from the night of the attack on Jade Cargill which implied Liv and Raquel were responsible.

The match exceeded expectations with lots of near falls which appeared to be the finish. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio at ringside played a role by helping Liv get her foot onto the rope after a K.O.D.

The finish came after Raquel slammed Naomi’s head into a ringpost and Liv covered her for the one, two, three. An almost six month reign for Bianca was ended but the question around who attached Jade is still uncertain.
